Northeast Pa. Komen Race for the Cure goes virtual this year

It's not the 30th Anniversary Komen Race for the Cure organizers were hoping for, but they won't let Covid-19 stop the fundraiser to fight breast cancer. This year, rather than runners gathering in downtown Scranton, they are asked to register online and participate remotely. You can walk or run on your own and raise money for the cause. Organizers ask you to send photos or video and survivor stories, and runners can send screenshots of their mileage and time to submit race results. Komen will use social media to share the effort during the expanded event that now runs from September 13-26. CLICK HERE for more information.
