"The supercop story... was working. Okay? It was working, and you guys just messed it up."

22 years after Eddie Murphy called Beverly Hills Cop 3 "garbage", Alex Foley is on his way back to the silver screen.

"You're not gonna fall for the banana in the tailpipe?"

The long-awaited Beverly Hills Cop 4 has officially been greenlit by Paramount Pictures. Deadline reports that Eddie Murphy will reprise his iconic role in Alex's home turf of Detroit.

"What's this man doing here? Bleeding, sir."

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, the Belgian duo known for their work with the gritty crime drama Black, were hand selected by Murphy and producer Jerry Bruckheimer to direct the film.
