Corey Taylor Teases New Slipknot Mask Again

See the latest tease as the summer tour approaches

Corey Taylor’s new mask for the next chapter of Slipknot is coming into focus, barely. The frontman is letting fans know he hasn’t forgotten about them without revealing too much.

Taylor posted a blurry photo on Instagram that appears to show an eye, but we can’t get a feel for what the whole thing will look like. “Soon,” is all Taylor wrote on the post.

It’s the latest tease from Taylor about the new mask. He previously posted a picture of special effects artist Tom Savini and team working their magic during the early stages of the design.

Taylor recently told Altpress that a new mask is representative of a new him: "I’m not the same guy I was four years ago when we did .5, and before that when I did All Hope Is Gone. That guy is constantly changing, so who is that guy in this moment?”

Slipknot's new album is due out on August 9th. The band shared its first single in four years, "All Out Life," on Halloween. They'll be on the road all summer starting on June 7th overseas. Check out the full list of dates here
